The R-Fleet is one of the oldest sailing fleets at CYC with six boats
now racing every weekend. The R's typically sail with a crew of 5-6
sailors. Ardette and Puffin are the oldest boats in the fleet and are
still the original design and are wood hulls. Cotton Blossom, Lovely
Lady, Pop-N-Jack and Scorpion are fiberglass design and were molded off
the original wood hull of Cotton Blossom. The R's sit low in the water
and their sleek design makes
for a great view as they cross the
starting line.
