The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) was founded in 1878 by a small group of influential and visionary businessmen who were drawn together by a common bond…the love of boats and water.
Located on the south shore of Lake Erie, CYC is one of the oldest and most respected yachting clubs in the nation. It is widely known for the beauty of its natural resources and family-friendly atmosphere.
CYC members enjoy seasonal boating activities and a variety of social events throughout the year. Members are encouraged to support and participate in a wide range of youth activities, including junior and championship adult sailing as well as power fleet functions.
For generations, our members have taken great pride in preserving our rich yachting traditions. The camaraderie of our members is evident in their fun-loving spirit and shared memories.
